Uniquely beautiful grey cat abandoned when owner moves to a nursing home, kind man finds her and adopts her despite having a full house of dogs and cats

He finds her and feeds her, and before he knows it she's at his home with all of his other pets getting along swimmingly.

He name is Shadow. Someone was feeding her around where this person works and they said she needed a home. The neighbor's son had left her outside when he put his mother in a nursing home, and she found herself abandoned and outside. He went back a few days later to see if he could find her, and lo and behold she was hanging around the same house when they first met. He originally wanted to find her a good home, but decided to keep her instead. He already has cats and dogs, but claims she's better behaved than his cats! He wants to make her an adventure cat and take her on hikes since she loves the dogs. He bought her a little backpack, and we'll see if the two end up going on dates together. This story is so precious because the cat has such unique features. He really fell in love with her, and despite her hard life she seems like she's such a sweet and tender soul. It's understandable that when life hits someone with old age, then they're no longer able to take care of a cat. Cats are a lot of work when you don't have the capacity. Sure, they're not the same responsibilities as dogs, but they require a lot. It's not just feeding them and cleaning their litter box. They can be quite demanding with wanting to play, get pet, or snuggle. My cat is really unique in that way, he requires so much affection. He'll just sit there meowing at me all day if I don't pet him or play with him. He reminds me of a dog in that way that he's so needy for love and care. Some cats are more stoic and do their own independent thing, but not him. And because she also seems to be more dog-like, she might require that kind of love and care. But it seems this guy is fine giving it to her.
